Theme: “Leading the Change: Developing Resilient Library Leaders for a Transforming Academic Landscape”

University Librarians Ghana warmly invites university librarians, mid-career professionals, and emerging library leaders to its 42nd Annual General Meeting and Conference in Kumasi. This year’s programme explores what resilient leadership means for academic libraries at a time of rapid change in technology, open science, funding, and user expectations, combining the AGM business sessions with a keynote address and three practical workshops.

The Opening Ceremony will be chaired by Professor Isaac Boateng, Pro Vice-Chancellor of USTED, with Professor Frederick K. Sarfo, Vice-Chancellor of USTED, as Special Guest of Honour. Professor Humphrey Danso, Dean of the Graduate School, USTED, will deliver the keynote address. The workshops will be facilitated by Dr. Mac-Anthony Cobblah, University Librarian of the University of Cape Coast (Staff Establishment), and Dr. Michael Ato Essuman of the Department of Publishing Studies, KNUST (Academic Self-Publishing).

Colleagues from across Ghana’s universities and colleges of education are invited to take part. Registration and further details will follow shortly.
